Summary: Louis Graci and 4 other sailors USS McCracken, APA 198, Troop Transport. Submerged round object about the size of gun turret, 20′, with a dull finish sharply outlined and no sound. Ship passed over it laying still in the water. Not reported as sailor thought at the time it was a sea turtle.
