Summary/Description:  Four witnesses, 3 metal workers, named Yurov, Szuszhulin, Kozlov and a traffic militia inspector also named Kozlov had gone fishing on the banks of the River Kumak about 75km from Orsk. While preparing their fishing lines they saw a bright star-like object above them which began emitting what appeared to be circular “rings” of light, similar to ripples on the water. At first the light was about 1/2 meter in diameter and when it had reached the ground its lower end diameter appeared to be 10-15 meters in diameter. These circles of light created a matt cone-shaped beam of light. Soon after the bright “star” began moving away horizontally and the cone-shaped beam of light remained on the ground for several seconds and then it vanished.

After that the witnesses returned to their tents for dinner and their car, thinking that they had only seen some type of natural phenomena or satellite or maybe some type of rocket launch from the Baikonur launching range in Kazakhstan, but it had been somehow different. At 0100A 2 of the men went to sleep and the other two decided to check their fishing nets to see if they had caught anything.

Suddenly one of the men found himself in some type of room shaped like a 1/4 circle and heard a voice inside his head that told him to sit down. He sat on something resembling a rectangular stool about 400mm high and 250-300 mm wide. On the floor he could see a hatch about 500 x 800 mm in diameter. A closed doorway was visible on his left front. Also on his left something resembling some kind of covering was visible that appeared to be over some kind of piping about 600mm in diameter. The room was more than 2 meters in height and was pale-gray in color, resembling plastic. The witness wondered where he was and where his friend had gone to. Suddenly the hatch opened and he saw his friend sitting below on a small platform.

The witness stood up, apparently directed by some force and walked towards the hatch and the descended towards his friend. At the platform the witness felt as if his actions had been remotely controlled. He then jumped from the platform down to the ground and landed near his friend almost striking his head. When he turned around he saw a bright light moving very fast away from them. He began screaming at the (supposed aliens), “Wait stop, don’t go!” but the light disappeared towards the direction of the crescent shaped moon. His friend (Ivan) appeared confused, not knowing that had occurred. At the same time the other men had been apparently searching for them and appeared at the location following his shouts.

At the site they found both men standing within a crater about 1.5m in diameter and about 600mm deep. They both could not remember what had taken place and their footprints were not visible on the soft ground. One of the men, Mikhail Szuszhulin remembered that while sleeping in the car he was awoken by bright flashes of light and a loud hissing sound, it was already about 0630A. Another nearby hunter remembered seeing a star-like light emitting a beam of light towards the ground. The two men had been apparently abducted onboard a UFO.
