Summary: Several employees of the Martin Company and Army personnel observed three unusual radar returns on the long range radar. Three objects were observed approaching the Chicago area from ESE with 30 second separation at speeds in excess of 4000 knots. The radar return was very sharp. An attempt was made to determine the altitude of the objects but their speed was beyond the capability of the equipment. After the sightings the equipment was tested and found to be in perfect operating order.

Summary: We were coming home from drive in movie and were in the country….when we saw round , red glowing object..we stopped the car and watched it for approximately 10 minutes…it changed from red to orange tp white to OUT…..It seemed to be metal in appearance.and if you held up a dime and closed one eye at arms length..it seemed to be about that size……we then drove down the driveway to tell my folks about it..and we all came out side…and through the branches of trees we saw an orange flash Movement from left to right..and did not see it anymore……we called the police department the next morning and asked if anyone else had seen anything,,and he said say they had had a few reports……but it was back in the day when you felt they were thinkin ..”yeah sure!”….but I have never forgotten it. I do not know what I saw….but would love to hear a reasonable explanation…..and I do sincerely think I have seen a true UFO…it made a believer out of me………

Summary: It was an overcast day. It was around 10 am. My passenger and I left Summit, SC, heading toward Leesville, SC. We saw an incredibly bright flash of light. It was like I saw this coming from a mirror on a mountain? (like used in a signal or something) yet, I couldn’t see an aircraft. The flash appeared to be white/silver. My passenger said that they thought the flash had originated from the right side of our vehicle. I saw the flash on my left just above the tree line. It was very strange that we saw this flash on opposite sides. We both said, “What just happened?” This was a very strange occurrence. I still think about this often. Also, note that the sun was not out, it was an overcast winter morning
