Summary/Description: While walking home from a late-night movie, witness Carl Haynes was interrupted by the sound of “weird music and singing” echoing across the rural landscape. Upon investigation, he discovered the source was a landed craft positioned on the far bank of the creek. The object was described as two metallic saucers joined at the center, featuring a dome illuminated by rapidly rotating, multicolored lights.
Haynes observed four or five small humanoid entities, standing roughly three to four feet tall, who appeared to be dancing and singing in a rhythmic fashion around the craft. The entities held small, gun-like objects and moved with a distinct agility. After approximately ten minutes, the singing ceased, and the beings began loading equipment back into the craft via an open hatch. Haynes believed the entities may have sensed his presence, though the creek acted as a physical barrier between them.
The craft eventually departed by ascending vertically in a “corkscrew motion,” accompanied by a sharp whistling sound. As it gained altitude, its luminosity intensified before it vanished from sight.
Case Analysis and Trace Evidence
The following morning, Haynes returned to the site to inspect the ground for physical corroboration. He discovered four distinct spherical impressions in the dust, along with a deep, singular spike mark in the center where the craft had rested. Most notable were the hundreds of narrow, “heel-less” footprints scattered throughout the area, suggesting the entities possessed a unique physiological foot structure. This case remains a standout of the 1952 wave due to the rare combination of auditory anomalies (singing) and high-quality physical trace evidence.
