2014: January UFO & Alien Sightings

Summary: I have been reading about sightings of man-like creatures all over the internet. Back in January 2014 I was driving home from my workplace and witnessed an unexplained ‘thing’ cross the roadway in front of me. I was at my workplace, the Toyota plant in Buffalo, WV. I was on vacation, but needed to stop by and pick up my paycheck. It was close to 5PM. I was driving home on Rt 35 and then turned of onto to Hurricane Creek Rd heading towards home. It was dark by that time. There is a wide turn about 1/4 mile from the highway. As I drove through the turn, something on two legs walked out of the woods and onto the roadway. I hit the high beams, and when I did this ‘thing’ turned it’s head and bore it’s teeth, running into the opposite trees on two legs. I have no idea what this thing was, but the teeth were huge. It was about 6-7 ft high. It had a snout like a bear but the head looked like a man – eyes, ears and hair. The body had black hair all over it, but it was built like a stocky man – long legs with big flat feet and arms with man hands. It shocked the hell out of me. When I got home I told my wife, but didn’t tell my daughter. I didn’t want to scare her. I’ve been hunting in this county all my life but have never seen or heard of anything like this. I thought I’d write you after seeing the upright canine reports but I don’t think that is what this is. I could only call it a ‘bear man.’ I’d like to know what you thought. JH

Summary: The main witness was at her boyfriend’s apartment and they were in the process of leaving the apartment to get into her parked car that was in the alley next to the building. They were then sitting in the car listening to music and talking with the sunroof opened. They then started to look up at the stars and they both saw about 10 or so black flying “helicopters” or something flying in a “V” like shape. The black flying objects kind of looked like birds because they were small but they were moving too fast and it was kind of late at night for it to be birds. The black objects then flew off into the distance. At this point they both got out of the car to get a better look at the sky and that is when the witness saw a flying reptile-like “bird” with feathers and wings. She knew it was some type of bird because she could see wings flapping like a bird and the feathers blowing in the wind. According to the witness the creature resembled a “pterodactyl” because it was huge and it looked like a mix of reptile and bird. She only saw it for less than a minute as it disappeared behind a building. According to the witness a year earlier she had seen a similar flying creature in the same location next to the New Carver Apartments in downtown Los Angeles. This other creature was different from the black creature since it was brown in color and moving in a “waving” motion or moving like a snake in the sky. At one point it seemed to float in the sky and then it “shape shifted” and blended in with the color of the sky. According to the witness she and her boyfriend who was also present at this sighting could “feel the energy of the flying object” it was almost as if it knew it was being watched

Summary: At a location locally known as “Cat’s Eye”, on Madison Avenue a young lady was sitting on her front porch, an enclosed patio with a few large windows. One window open in the front, beside the front door, smoking a cigarette. It was after 11pm and visibility was good, up to 100 feet because of street lights. She said before this sighting, she had heard strange noises and the local dogs had been going nuts, off and on without an apparent reason. As she smoked the cigarette she noticed movement, thinking it was someone walking down the railroad tracks she looked up and saw something that “blew her mind”. It was, in her words, a thing that had a head of a dog, almost exactly like a German shepherd, and was walking like a person on two legs. She said she saw its eyes and that’s when she noticed it was staring at her. She said that she “became lost in its eyes”. Any other description she cannot recall clearly after seeing it look at her and then her seeing its eyes. She said it was rather dark colored and almost had the look of wearing an oversized black sweatshirt, but she didn’t think it was a sweatshirt, but hair or fur. She said its height was in the neighborhood of six feet, maybe just a bit less. She stated how several times the eyes “drew her in”. The creature took a couple of steps towards her and at that time she saw a flash of light. The creature looked towards the direction it was originally heading and in a very quick movement spun around and took off in the direction it had come from. The brief flash of light, she soon found out, was her mother’s headlights as she turned into the road. She repeatedly asked her mother if she seen anything near the railroad tracks when she was near home. Her mother had not seen the creature. Interestingly, directly across from the witness’ home there is a government installation that has an array of cameras installed over the entire property.

Summary: Two people reported first seeing a reddish disc-shaped object hovering above their garage. They were standing in their backyard. 10 days later one of the witnesses encountered a strange humanoid inside the garage. Incredibly the tall figure pushed the remote control to the garage door and ran into a nearby wooded area, taking long running strides and apparently floating just above the snow. The humanoid appeared to have been wearing some type of mask and a tight-fitting outfit. According to the source, “several other anomalies had been found during the course of the investigation”. They promised to publish further results in April.

Summary: I was backing out of a friend’s driveway when I happened to glance up. I immediately became aware that I was seeing 3 strobing white lights in a triangle formation. A silver dollar held at arms length would just cover the object, as it appeared to be less than 1,000 feet AGL. I would say that the object was 200 yards ahead of me and straight up, putting it at 70 degrees (field of view). While observing the lights, I took note that I did not see any red and green navigation lights that would indicate conventional aircraft. I attempted to take a photo but the object was already too far ahead, so I followed the object in my pickup for about a mile and a half, as it quickly pulled away from me and I lost sight of it. The object was headed due east. There was no sound associated with this unidentified flying object.

Summary: The witness was on his way to work when he noticed what he thought was an airplane or helicopter. As he got closer to it and drove past it the witness realized that it was a triangular- shaped craft with windows and humanoid entities inside of it. It had three red lights on each corner of the undercarriage and blue blinking light in the center. I was unable to stop since he did not want to be noticed by the craft and a car came up behind him. The beings appeared Caucasian with light brown hair and had on gray uniforms, there were two of them and it looked like they were standing up behind each other.

Summary: On Friday, 17 January of this year, seven (7) people were traveling in a Ford F100 pickup truck at a speed of some 40 kilometers per hour. Franco and Javier were in the payload of the vehicle with their two siblings. Their parents and grandmother were inside the cabin. They were returning from San Eduardo and in order to reach the farm where they live it was necessary to traverse the 15 kilometer stretch that separated them from their destination. Amid the soybeans close to the barbed wire fence, about 2 kilometers before reaching their home, Franco, 15, and Javier, 13, noticed an exceedingly tall figure in a crouched position. When the entity noticed it had been spotted by the two boys, it took off running in the opposite direction, along the edge of the barbwire fence. The witnesses said that the figure was very slender and with a large head. Its back was some 20 centimeters wide and they saw it at a distance of about 15 meters. They were unable to observe any details, as it was the full moon and it had been facing them head on.

Summary: A witness had gone outside to walk with his girlfriend when they both noticed a bright irregular shape moving slow over the area. He sent his girlfriend inside the object and followed the object in his car. He kept his distance and so it land on a construction field. There was no one around but his girlfriend had followed close behind and joined him to see a triangular-shaped door slowly open on the craft. A figure came out wearing a suit and looked their way and then looked around. It then bent down and grabbed some soil and then blowing it into the wind. It carried a sort of device in one hand which later picked up and said an unintelligible phrase. The craft then left and the strange figure remained behind. According to the witnesses the figure suddenly ‘transformed’ itself into a normal human and walked away never looking back at the witnesses.

Summary: The two witnesses were returning to Las Vegas after a weekend of rock climbing and were following I-40W from Flagstaff in an uneventful (but gorgeous) drive through western Arizona. Sometime after sunset and near Route 93, the car high beams caught a gray flying creature flapping large wings and ascending quickly out of view. The main witness knows of no native North American birds that would have as much surface area as this did. It followed an upward diagonal trajectory, and appeared to be featherless and tailed. He asked his partner if she had seen something, to which she responded, “You saw that too?” He asked her what she had seen without telling her what he had; she also described a featherless, gray-skinned pterodactyl-type creature with a very long tail flying quickly upwards.

Summary: The witness was pulling into her driveway when she saw a human-like shape run into her backyard. When she reached the back of the driveway it was gone. There were no prints in the snow from any animal or human at all. She proceeded inside to ask her husband if their son had just come home. He said no and asked who just went running through the yard. Apparently he saw it also. The figure was whitish-grey in color and the size of a ‘teenager’. Apparently the witness had startled it as she pulled into the driveway and it took off running, but left no prints in the snow. Her cat went outside later and was acting strangely, running around in circles and unusually hyper.

Summary: On Monday, Franco, 15, who was also a witness in the first case on Friday had gone out to the back of his house to collect some basil leaves at his mother’s request. At that moment, he saw the humanoid at a distance of 150 meters, walking along the edge of the barbed wire fence separating the corn plantation from his backyard. Franco noticed that it walked in a hunched manner and that he saw it sideways on. At no time did the entity noticed him. Franco entered his house quickly and the entity was not seen again. Franco described the entity as having a large head, pale skin, no ears, no nose and its eyes and mouth he could not see. It had slight build, with larger hands with three fingers that had a “marble” like protrusion at the tip of each, it had no hair and no apparent clothing. The family is now frightened and feeling unsafe as a result of the incidents.

Summary: A witness reported seeing an extremely pale, almost translucent humanoid figure crossing County Road 61 just west of its intersection with Council Road in far northwest Logan County. The figure had extremely long and thin arms, an egg-shaped head, no nose, its eyes were small and it had large pointed teeth. It moved extremely quickly across the road on all fours and they drove back towards town and eventually made it to Oklahoma City without any further incident.

Summary: The witness had just left work and was taking a less traveled road home, old 441. Everything was going as normal on his typical drive home until he came to a red light. No cars on the road at all; just him sitting there. Suddenly, it seemed to the witness as if time “had stood still” and the sounds became very long and drawn out. When he came to a stop, out of the darkness on the passenger side of the car, all of a sudden a teenager appeared. He was about 15 feet from the car. He was wearing blue jeans and a hoodie that was up over his head. From what the witness could see, it appeared he had little to no facial features—especially the eyes. The eyes were blacker than the darkness. The witness felt fear beyond explanation. He turned his gaze off the “teenager” and looked back toward the light when he saw what looked like an identical twin crossing the road very, very slowly in front of his car, as though to hold him up if the light did change. The next thing he knew the “boy” was at the side of his car, approaching the car as though he was going to get in. The witness was filled with an overwhelming fear and thought he was going to die. At the time he remembers thinking, “This the Angel of Death”. He thought about running the light and had a feeling that somehow the two strange figures were ‘talking’ to each other, without talking out loud. As far as he knows the figure never touched the car. A car started to approach from behind and the light changed. As he was leaving he looked back and both ‘boys’ were gone. The witness was so frightened that he thought that the two strange beings were going to show up at his house. Thankfully they did not.

Summary: It was about 9:30pm and the witness was alone at home, reading a book in her bedroom. Her kids slept in their bedroom in the basement. The lights were all off, except her reading light on her headboard. She was focused on her book when she saw something from the corner of her eye. She immediately felt chills, looking, she saw that there was nothing, so she continued reading for a few minutes until a flash of white light illuminated her whole room. Then she saw three white spheres the size of a basketball floating in the air at the height of the ceiling. She felt terrified. The spheres moved synchronously in spirals around the room and emitted a humming sound and illuminated the room. Suddenly the spheres stopped moving and vanished. With her heart beating extremely fast she looked at her phone and it was 10:34pm. Reassured she told herself that she had probably dreamt the whole thing. Instinctively she looked out the window and what she saw terrified her. There was a total of two beings standing and looking at her through the window. They were about 4 feet tall, with large heads, large black slanted eyes, and no noses, only nostrils. They were staring at her intently and she felt “anger” projecting towards her. She was terrified and began sweating profusely. Suddenly the figures disappeared and she felt reassured for a second until something cold grabbed her legs and her arms at the same time. She couldn’t move, she was being held very tightly. She could feel something cold inside her skull, as if something was touching parts of her brain. It was an extremely terrifying experience. Summary: A man in Spokane Valley in Washington claimed to have witnessed and recorded a glowing sphere on video. The object apparently stopped to hover and seemed to drop something. On January 26, 2014, the witness noticed a bright object in yellow, red, and orange colors from the outside into a back porch around 7 p.m. He went north of his house and stopped before he changed direction to the east. He alerted his family for them to witness the strange aerial event. The witness saw the object hovered, flashed brightly many times, and discarded something glowing from the bottom of it. The object then slowly lost its brightness. Interestingly, it wasn’t the first time he saw the object. He saw the same object doing the same thing in almost the same place, only slightly farther southeast. A second witness made a report to UFOSNW of a large glowing orange sphere to the east at approximately 1810 hours on the same date. The witness lived around a mile from the first witness who took a video footage.

Summary: A 17-year old Columbiana teen claimed he saw a Bigfoot while driving on Bunker Hill Road. According to the highway patrol report, Robert James Sevenich of Metz Road was southbound on Bunker Hill Road at 2:55 a.m. when he went off the south side of the road and into a rock. The report stated that Sevenich told a trooper he went off the road to avoid a “creature” he described as at least seven feet tall with green glowing eyes, hairy and very well-built. When asked by the trooper if what he saw was human, Sevenich replied, “No” and said he believed it to be ‘Bigfoot’. Sevenich was cited for failure to control and the trooper searched the area for any evidence of what Sevenich described, but none was found, including any footprints of that nature. The report said that Sevenich did not appear to be under the influence of any illicit drugs, the report said.

Summary: A witness was driving along Interstate 5 approaching the Padden Parkway overpass reported seeing a 7-foot tall translucent entity cross the road. According to the witness he “slammed on my brakes” when the entity appeared in the middle of the road. “I saw a being hovering about 5 feet above the ground in the middle of the freeway of the feast lane(I think it was in the process of crossing the freeway),” the witness stated. “It was about one and a half car lengths in front of me. It was starting straight at me and all I could feel from it was extreme fear.” The witness described the entity as being translucent in appearance, about 7 feet tall, it had long lanky limbs and it did not appeared to be clothed yet did not look naked as it was reflecting everything around it, like you could see through it but it still had an obvious definite form. It had a human- like form except that it had two semi-long flaps of skin/hair (it was hard to distinguish due to its translucence appearance) that were attached to the head, from its profile it looked like it had slicked its hair/flaps back. The head was smooth and graduated into those two flaps by the nape of its neck. They were about 6 inches longs. The witness reported that the entity immediately began to move. “Then it faced east and took off running. However, it did not run like a human being or any animal I’ve seen. It ran with its whole body contorting/bending in half in a repetitive motion fast while hovering. It did this extremely fast, leaving sort of a trial or impression of itself across the freeway. It ran across the median to the other side and into the bushes on the other side of the northbound freeway where an on ramp meets the I-5.” The witness had come to a complete stop. “The whole time I stayed idling in my lane on the freeway. From the time I saw it and slammed on my brakes to the time it took off running across the freeway, everything was in extreme slow motion, like time was altered. It felt like the whole event took 10 minutes, but in reality the clock had only changed a minute at most. I was the only car on the road. It was foggy, but the area where the entity was, the area had no fog and the street light gave a golden orange glow to everything. The entity seemed to absorb this light. The being did not seem to have define features. Then I drove off, freaked out!”

Summary: The witness was alone at home as her husband was working outside the area. She was watching television alone and it was very dark at the time. She suddenly noticed a flash of light, similar to lighting. However there was no storm outside, the sky was clear and she did not hear any thunder. A second flash of light lit the whole area for at least 5 seconds. At first she thought that the nearest electrical transformer had failed, but it was no transformer since she still had electricity. She was not concerned at first and continued watching television. Suddenly she saw a shadow walk across the living room. She asked, “Richard is that you?” thinking that her husband had returned early from work. She looked around and nobody was there, she then walked around the house and checked the parking lot but her husband’s car was not there. She thought that she must have been hallucinating and decided to watch another movie. However she became sleepy and went to bed and fell asleep almost immediately. After a few minutes she woke up with the feeling that somebody else was inside the room. She slowly opened her eyes and saw a silhouette staring at her from the foot of her bed. She could not see any features clearly so she snapped a photo with her cellphone. She was not sure if she was awake or dreaming so she closed her eyes and fell asleep the rest of the night. The next morning as she browsed through her cellphone she found the photo she had taken the night before. The silhouette she saw was in fact a small humanoid being, about 4 feet tall, and large eyes staring at her. She felt sick and could only remember that she immediately fell asleep after snapping the photograph.
