Summary: Joe in Arizona called in to Darkness Radio to tell his story. “I’m a long haul truck driver. Let me preface my story by saying my truck has a GPS and a computer that monitors all my driving so that I always maintain legal. So I roll out one night at approximately 7 o’clock out of Moriarty, New Mexico headed eastbound. I gotta get to Springfield, Missouri. So I’m just driving along, putting along, next thing I know, I’m getting fuel in Oklahoma City and it’s about 5 o’clock in the morning. Now that drive usually takes, approximately 7 hours. I didn’t think nothing of it. I was just like I was driving at night, I was probably tired, you know. And I’m thinking about it and it doesn’t feel like I drove, it feels like I watched me drive. It was just a really weird experience and I just didn’t think nothing of it. I continued driving because I had a few hours left on my clock. I get a phone call from my boss at 8 AM that morning asking me what I did to my truck. Not understanding the question, I said, ‘What do you mean what I did to my truck?’ He goes, ‘Your truck went off GPS about 40 miles east of Moriarty, New Mexico and re-appeared on GPS at 5 AM in Oklahoma City.’ Now, he tells me, ‘You had to have done something to your truck. Did you pull a fuse to run illegal?’ I said, ‘No, I never ran illegal before in my life.’ Still not quite understanding what is going on, he sends me over to another one of my bosses who is in charge of being legal in the trucking industry and we’re talking and she looks it up in the computer and she goes, ‘Yeah, your log book’s wrong too. It says that you were shut down and didn’t drive for 4 hours during that 9 hour period.’ I’m like, ‘No, what could have done it because I don’t know what could have done it?’ She’s like, ‘Oh, this happens occasionally.’ I was like, ‘What do you mean occasionally?’ She said, ‘It usually happens to truck drivers two or three times a week, I see.’ So I said, ‘What can do this, I don’t want this to happen again?’ She said, ‘Computer systems – the computer company just calls it a glitch.’ I was like, ‘You know, I’ve seen glitches in the computer and it’s not glitching for 9 hours at at time.’ Usually computer glitches are 4 or 5 minutes. Under normal circumstances, I wouldn’t think of it but I’m looking back on my own attitude about it and it’s like, that’s really weird because, here’s me, I’m not, I just realized I’m in Oklahoma City… I shouldn’t be here. And as I try to recall it, again, it’s like I wasn’t actually there, it was like I watching it happen.” Host Dave Schrader asks if he just zoned out, which happens to people who drive the to the same places all the time. “Under normal circumstances I would say you’re absolutely right but it just happened to be at the exact same time that my computer glitches out. It shows that I drove around 500 miles and my GPS doesn’t match my log book and my log book shows that I stopped the truck for 4 hours. That’s another thing, I’m asking her… she says it happens 2 or 3 times a week. We have a fleet of 5000 trucks, 2 or 3 times a week, it could be just computer glitches. In all reality, it could just be computer glitches and we are just muscle memory it. But it just doesn’t feel right because I’ve muscle memoried it a lot and I can still recall where a tire was in the road at mile mark so and so and what road but with this, I can’t recall anything in detail. Summary: Diane Bittner was walking into a local Farmers Market and saw two people standing at the pizza bar talking but as she stood by them they stopped. She remembers seeing the tops of 3 children’s heads lined up on the other side of the pizza bar. Their hair was identical, like triplets but she could not see any faces. But as she walked past them she felt compelled to turn around to look at them because something didn’t seem right. According to Bittner, the adults stood there like “stoic soldiers” just staring at her. The 3 little ones didn’t move a hair. What was strange was that the “so-called” mother and father both looked alike. She had not quite shoulder length blonde hair, he had dark hair, but they looked identical. Their eyes looked normal (unlike the “Black eyed kids”). And yet at no time did the children move. Diane then just turned and walked away. She felt that it was almost as if “they knew I was coming there or knew me or had some kind of connection” because as soon as she walked in they stopped talking and then were leering at her. It didn’t scare her and she doesn’t that she is being followed. She believes she encountered some kind of hybrids.

Summary: The main witness had driven up to Massachusetts with another “spiritually inclined” friend. The purpose of this trip was to experience the “Lightfield unit” on Saturday. She had initially intended in some vague way to write a blog piece about that adventure. As it turns out it was a very positive experience, however photos are not allowed and the whole set up is somewhat proprietary and for several reasons it seems better not to write about the actual Lightfield right now.
The trip was rather longer than she usually drive and after supper in Stockbridge she was getting into the last stretch of the drive on Massachusetts Route 20 looking in vain for the road to the Baird Tavern Bed and Breakfast they had booked for that night. It was just getting toward twilight. They had passed through Lee and were in the area of Becket when she noticed first one and then two cars following her close behind. Both of these cars looked rather identical in the rearview mirror. They were both shiny late model mini-Suv type vehicles and both had their parking lights on but not their headlights. The one directly behind her had tinted windows but she could not tell about the rear vehicle. The parking lights of both vehicles looked absolutely identical and that struck her as slightly odd. She mentioned to her companion that she was about to pull over so these cars could pass her and she could call the B & B for further instructions and then she pulled off to the side of the road at the Becker Fire Station. To her great surprise the cars that were right behind her did not pass her because they had absolutely disappeared. They got some updated directions and a minute later proceeded on their way and she would had probably forgotten about the disappearing tailgaters in short order. But only a minute or two down the road they saw what appeared to be a slight young man walking down the left side of the road in the same direction they were driving. This was a much wooded area and there was nothing nearby with which to judge his height. They were otherwise alone at that time on the road. On his back was what appeared to be a light gray backpack with a darker horizontal stripe. As she drove closer to him she saw a black hood on his head which seemed to be coming from his shoulders rather than from the base of his neck. This also struck her as very odd, so that when she passed him at a relatively slow speed she took a good look back at him and to her surprise and slight horror saw only the solid pitch black hood and no face or indication of a head. She was very spooked, as it was not so dark that she should not have seen a face. In as state of confusion and bewilderment she drove on to the Baird Tavern B & B. When they arrived they were both very happy to get there. It is a beautiful place built in 1768. The witness does not know if the anomalous experience had anything to do with her next day’s Lightfield experience, but there is purportedly an opening to other dimensions within that technology.

Summary: The witness, Pamela (involved in other encounters) reported a terrifying experience one night. She had gone to bed that evening about 10 pm. It was a normal evening and she was not feeling different in any way. In the middle of the night she suddenly awoke. She believes it was the early hours of the morning as it was still dark, but she did not check the exact time. She found that she could not move her body, only her head. She looked around and saw the left side of a strange being. It had blue-gray colored skin and looked slender. It was reaching out and gripping hold of her left arm. The being’s arm was long and extremely thin. The figure was emerging from what she could only describe as a “portal” coming through the wall over the bed. This portal spiraled into the wall and was a glowing silver color. It reminded her of liquid metal. It was no more than a couple of feet across. Pamela was absolutely terrified of what was taking place. She tried to scream but her voice came out muffled. Panicking, she struggled to move but found she could not. Then she felt herself blacking out, almost as if she had been sedated. It was still dark in the room, but everything was back to normal. Despite the fact she was still extremely scared she managed to drop off to sleep again.
In the morning Pamela awoke to the sound of the alarm and got ready to take her children to school. She pushed what had happened to the back of her mind and just put it down to a vivid nightmare. But despite this in the days following the incident she found it extremely frightening to be alone in the room. She would only go to sleep if one of her children was also present. Also after the incident her pet cat would not come into the room.

Summary: At 19:00 on Tuesday May 14th the witness was walking his dog with his girlfriend when they saw a cat besides the sidewalk trap something in its paws, suddenly a light from whatever it trapped and the cat let go. The witness then saw what resembled a small praying mantis fly off and disappear. On the above date as he lay in bed the bed sheet by his right foot was raised up and ‘knew’ that a clamp was going to be placed on his foot. He relaxed and thought “Let it be”. He then saw a vision of two silver rooms, he moved through a brilliant partition into one of the silver rooms and saw a brown human head suspended in the air and fragments of other things suspended in the air. It seemed like ‘chaos’ and his mind was breaking, he only could repeat “I am that I am, I do not allow you to hurt me”, then his dog charged into living room like someone was in the house, he immediately got out of bed and went to the living room and saw a gray shoebox slide from outside the patio through the sliding glass door and under his chair in the living room. He sat up for an hour in the living room.
At 01:45 a.m. he went back to bed and fell asleep right away. He then had a vision/dream that he was in a white room looking down at 2 8×8 foot square gray mattresses set diagonally from one another, he then had a feeling he was one of the beds, he then heard a voice that said
“Enlightenment”. At 04:30 a.m. he opened his eyes and saw a small ‘Led’ light outside the bedroom window behind a Japanese Maple Tree, it moved slowly down casting the shadow of the tree on the sheer curtain, and then another light appeared and was moving sideways. From it, more began appearing and then a great flash of light like fireworks and a 5 foot in diameter counter-clockwise spiral with thousands of small lights appeared, the swirl sped up and shrunk down to two volleyball sized bright orbs and flew off to the west leaving a trail of small lights
‘like a meteor’. At 09:36 a.m. while sitting in his chair in the living room having coffee and logging onto the computer his dog leaped at the glass sliding door barking as if an intruder was around. He turned to look and behind the picket fence he saw a brown alien face and black eyes looking at him it then moved horizontally and out of sight. His dog and the witness then rushed to the front door, the dog stood around the door sniffing as he walked to the picket fence but found nothing. The alien’s skin was like brown leather and it had large oval-shaped eyes. He later noticed that one of the branches on the Japanese maple tree seemed to have made a 180 degree turn growing back into the trunk.

Summary: The witness was standing on a porch looking across the street into a pasture where about 20 cows were grazing when he saw something move by a tree just above the lower pasture. He kept his eyes there when a strange figure appeared. It looked really tall, 7 to 10 feet, very thing, stick-like. He could see very long fingers on the hands. It was approximately 20 feet from a cow that it appeared to be watching. The witness then moved in an attempt to obtain some binoculars. As soon as he moved the figure sprinted toward the woods at the base of a small mountain/hill. The stride it made was amazing to see. The sprint was more like speed walking— very smooth, quick, long strides almost gliding with leg and knee movement. It was grayish brown and blended perfectly with trees. As he saw it enter the tree line, it paused and looked back over the pasture toward the witness. The witness then left the scene momentarily to retrieve a pair of binoculars. When he got back with them he scanned the tree line where he last saw it and saw it just peeking around a tree and part of its leg past the tree. Then it just disappeared. A few months after this incident the same witness reported a dream-like encounter with aliens who communicated telepathically.

Summary: About 3 weeks ago the witness had seen a strange fireball-like object in the sky and since then had felt like he was being watched. On the night of the encounter he doesn’t remember going to sleep but does remember waking up in a metal room and he was lying on a metal bed and was restrained. He struggled to turn his head and saw many people lying on these metal beds just like the one he was on. He focused on one in particular which he realized was his sister it seemed that everyone was in some state of unconsciousness. At this point he realized that something was very wrong, panicked and attempted to free himself. He then realized that he was surrounded by short beings, they were grayish in color and seemed oblivious to the fact that he was trying to fight his way out of the restraints. Suddenly out of nowhere a bright light appeared and another being appeared, this one was taller and had a more oval shaped head with indentations in it and it was almost tan in color. It communicated with him telepathically and the witness asked it what it was doing to them and it said, “We are looking at your DNA.” He then asked it why it was doing this to us and it replied, “All humans have alien DNA, but not all humans have the same alien DNA” He asked it where they were from and it said, “We come from Sirius” and it also told him that they have been coming to him for a long time. At that point it disappeared and his fear returned and he started screaming from the top of his lungs, the next thing he remembers is jumping up from his bed screaming and waking up everybody in the house.

Summary: The main witness was sleeping next to her boyfriend when she suddenly woke up to the sound of him angrily cursing. She groggily lifted her eyes to see what was going on and as soon as she glanced over she could see that not only was he passed out, but there was a figure by the bed staring at them. She immediately began to hyperventilate because ‘she was already sure she knew what it was’. She shut her eyes, completely terrified. She attempted to scream to wake her boyfriend—that’s when she really started to go into a panic. She was completely paralyzed and could hear her heart beating out of her chest. She slowly opened her eyes to see if the figure was still there and to her horror it was—she just couldn’t stand to look at it but what she saw was 5 feet tall with a large oval-shaped head on a naked, thin body.
She quickly darted her eyes away so she wouldn’t have to look in its eyes and what she saw standing at the foot of her bed almost scared her even more. The way it stared at her ‘violated her’ very deeply and it was difficult to break eye contact even though that’s all she was trying to do, at the same time desperately trying to scream and jerk her boyfriend awake. The ‘thing’ at the foot of the bed was so short she could only see its shoulders up. She estimated it to have been about 4 feet tall, perhaps a little more. The face resembled an ant with a slightly protruding nose/mouth area even though she doesn’t remember seeing any nose/mouth to speak of. Its eyes were large and black, and its skin looked kind of dark gray, and maybe rough. She had an instinctual impulse and tried to act on it—so she tried to concentrate and use all of her willpower to kick it. It looked at her feet and instantly an intense burning pain was shot into them and the witness felt like she was going to have a heart attack if the intensity of the situation didn’t end. Then what happened is really hard to describe. This thing that was now inflicting pain on her, and appeared to be conjuring energy around its body or dematerializing, she couldn’t tell, making it look that there was a ‘transparent hologram’ of it in front of it as soon as the witness felt pain, making it appear double. There was also a swirling vortex surrounding it…making it flicker in and out of what looked like a hologram. The entire time, she was trying her best not to succumb to shock because she is naturally a very strong person. She was extremely overwhelmed and it felt like she was subjected to fear and panic. She didn’t feel like these emotions were entirely hers, like whatever it was, it was somehow transferring the energy into her. The whole thing took about what seemed 8 minutes and just before it ended, she closed her eyes and felt like she was coming close to a heart attack.
She thought this and as soon as she ‘thought it’ she heard someone say “It’s okay.” When she heard that, the panic and fear instantly dropped and she was calm and she carefully glanced over and the room was exactly as it was, but now the beings were gone (her boyfriend was still out). She is still in shock and very edgy, she had never experienced panic like that in her life. She has had sleep paralysis before, however she is definitely convinced that what happened that night was a whole other ordeal.

Summary: The witness was driving west on New Kent Highway just before route 106, driving under the speed limit of 45 and he came around a bend and slowed down more because about 30 yards ahead of the car a ‘huge bird’ was in the center of the road, straddling the dotted line with its back to the witness. New Kent is basically a swamp with islands of high ground. Because of the terrain, housing properties are kind of jammed together on “high ground” with lots and lots of alternating hill/steep ravine wooded land of the swampy kind between. They have all kinds of big bird in the area, like Bald Eagles, ospreys, herons, turkey vultures, etc., so seeing a bird on the road was no real surprise.
What made him stop the car 12 ft. away from it was the fact that the ‘dang thing’s head was taller than his hood!” The witness could feel himself starting to grin, that grin we do get when we just cannot believe what we are seeing and suspect a joke. It then it opened its wings and the witness knew that it was all too serious. He was on a 2 lane country road with gravel shoulders. The thing’s wingtips were touching gravel on both sides. With two slow motion swoops (his window was down and his radio was off so he actually heard its wings pushing the air) it was up and blotting out everything else in his windshield, banked left on a wingtip and glided into the woods between the trees. He remembers craning his head over the steering wheel and up to see all of it as it banked. He has no idea how long he sat there in the middle of the road with his mouth open, totally blank, mentally feeling like he had been slapped silly. The only word that surface was
“Thunderbird”. When he finally cruised past where it had cut through the woods, he was looking for it, but did not see it. It was dark colored, looked like a dark charcoal color while on the road, but its feathers were a rust red brown when it launched into the sunlight. Its tail was a long triangle (with a very slight point on the end) like that of a hawk. Its wings were ‘just unbelievable”. They weren’t shaped like a hawk, more like a seagull. Its body was torpedo shaped no neck to speak of and a flat head. Due to the angle he didn’t see its face or beak.

Summary: While hiking the witness came into a clearing on a mountain trail, the weather was cool with some cloud cover. Ahead of him about 100 yards, a chevron shaped craft was hovering above the ground approximately 5 feet. It had not windows or lights on it, but had an indentation all the way around ‘resembling a hamburger bun’. About fifteen feet from the craft were two aliens dressed in shiny silver uniforms. One had on red boots, but the other had on boots the same color as the uniform. They were carrying what appeared to be a third unresponsive alien to the craft. They had dark gray skin and appeared to have trouble moving and were somewhat uncoordinated. A beam of blue light was coming from out of the bottom of the craft. The aliens carried the apparent lifeless body of the third alien into the beam and it appeared to take on a rippled appearance like water. Then the light went off and the aliens were gone. Next the craft began to slowly rise until it was very high and then it began to move quickly until he could not see it anymore. According to the witness he is a retired military man and is currently employed at the department of corrections in Florence.

Summary: A witness reported hearing a strange sound “I heard a strange humming sound outside of my house which is on 100 acres of wooded area near Piedmont, Missouri.” The witness then went outside to investigate the sound and saw a large brightly glowing orange/red ball of light on the northeast corner of his house, just above the roof line and approximately 15ft from the house. He describes how it looked like a solid object. “It looked like a solid object underneath a halo of light surrounding it. I was standing about 30ft away from the object. I was in shock and stood there, frozen, while calling to my 36-year old son to come out to see it, which he did.”
They both watched as this object for about 20 minutes or so as it hovered in the same spot, wavering somewhat and then it moved to the southeast and they noticed that there were at least 10 more of these objects in the woods at above and below the tree line about 100 yards from their position. The object moved very slowly toward the woods, seeming to be unaware of the witnesses’ presence or not care about it. He tried desperately to get his cell phone to come on so he could take a picture but it would not work. He thought the battery was drained, but after the object was out of sight the phone resumed working.
There was a 4-ft tall humanoid being standing next to the tree and a little behind it. It looked grayish, but it was hard to tell in the distance even though there was a full moon out. They just got a glimpse of it before it vanished. When they got back inside he was shocked to see that it was at least 50 minutes to an hour later than they were outside, as it had seemed only like 20 minutes of time had lapsed. Next they heard a helicopter approach and he looked out the window as it flew in the same direction as the UFO. He had never seen a helicopter out there his entire life. They did not go outside to look at it. The next evening his son was in town getting some groceries when he was approached by two policemen. They asked him how he was doing and he believed in aliens or ever saw an alien. He replied that he did not. Later and strangely, his son did not recall the incidents of the previous night for a long time. The witness also wonders how the police knew about the incident and also points out that UFO activity seems to be common in the area.

As she began to turn her attention back to the road she saw a completely black, slim, man-shaped shadow spring from the ground and grip either the trunk of a small tree or a power pole with its hands and the balls of its feet. She estimated the figure to have been a bit over five feet tall. Before she could get a substantial look the thing disappeared up behind thick foliage of a tree. She had the eeriest feeling that it was watching the children as if they were prey.

Summary: The main witness and his girlfriend were visiting the beach and apparently fell asleep on the seashore on their blanket. They woke up at almost 04:00 a.m. They gathered their belongings and decided to leave when he noticed a shadow-like figure by the shoreline giving off a blue blinking light, 1-2 seconds and then blink…repeating the same sequence. But the movement of the shadow was very strange. It went up and down to the left and to the right. Next thing they knew the shadow darted across the shoreline about 50 feet to the left. His girlfriend decided to find out what it was (the witness is emphatic that they were not under the influence of drugs or alcohol and there was no one else on the beach). Next thing they decided to go down to the shoreline. When they were near the moving shadow figure he decided to shine his cellphone light over it. It was then that they both witnessed the figure shift its shape to form arms and legs. It was completely black, no face and with a blue light that would not allow them to see a face if there was one. The figure then put one arm out near them and they immediately ran back up to the parking lot and went home. Before they left the sand they looked back and the figure had vanished. They couldn’t see the blue light anymore.
