Summary: Standing outside for a smoke and noticed a small airplane in a normal lane of travel to sw FL int’l airport at slower cruising speed being followed by a larger craft off it’s 8 o’clock position. The pilot may not have had it in visibility but maybe on radar? They didn’t make any maneuver to seem like they were trying to evade the craft.? The best way to describe what I saw is to compare it to the head of a electric shaver with three heads on it. The 3 circles were lit with a full orange color .No sound smoke trails and had an oscillating look as it slowly followed the airplane and panned from my left to right as far as I could see until they were out of sight . Maybe 5 minutes total. Just like watching any small airplane fly over and on. I was mostly seeing the bottom but at a slight side view too. Circular triangle craft so unbelievable it almost doesn’t feel real.. I could clearly see the craft with the last hints of twilight brightness. The airplane had 1 blinking red indicator light and then the orange glow from the craft were all very clear and not more than 1/2 mile from me at 3 to 5 thousand feet high.
